Richard Preece – Chief Training Officer – OSP Cyber Academy
Richard is an experienced international hybrid consultant and leader. He enables organizations to become more strategically agile and resilient, to exploit the opportunities and minimize the dangers of the current and future digital hyper-connected world.
He is a chapter author for Managing Cybersecurity Risk – How Directors and Corporate Officers can protect their businesses. He has written a follow-up chapter on the use of scenario workshops to prepare for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), due to be published in November 2017.
He has also co-authored a recent Whitepaper, GDPR: A Catalyst to Drive Real Action Around Privacy and Security
Guest Speaker – John Barrass – Deputy Chief Executive PIMFA
Public Policy and Government Relations, including Brexit, EU related business and anti-financial crime activity, impact of GDPR post Brexit.
As part of his work he runs PIMFA interests in Public Policy and Government Relations, including Brexit, EU related business and anti-financial crime activity.
Prior to joining PIMFA, John was Head of CFA Institute Centre for Financial Market Integrity in EMEA which followed over 12 years running international regulatory policy for the UK Government, the Securities and Investments Board, and the Financial Services Authority.
He spent the first 12 years of his career in HM Diplomatic Service immersed in Soviet and East European Affairs but with the fall of the Berlin Wall felt that it was time to move on.
John was educated at Cambridge University, England, and has a Masters degree from the University of Essex.
